The Lao language, like many others, does not use verb tenses. Each verb has only one form. English tenses such as past perfect and past continuous are highly confusing for students who grew up without such concepts.
With this book, students can see these verb tenses in action. Each short chapter is followed by review and exercises to help them understand when different tenses are appropriate, then to practice using them. Moreover, they'll do it all in the context of an enjoyable story, which will hold their attention far better than a grammar book.
